Last week, our little group sent $1,000 to Kampala to start making the pads for our sanitary pad project.
The pads these wonderful ladies are working on are the pads we'll be distributing when we make our way in September. They will form part of the kits we'll be handing out in the communities and the schools.
The funds raised are as a result of the ticket sales for the comedy shows earlier this month, which were an absolute success. Thank you to all those who attended!
We also wanted to acknowledge and thank the Cornwall Police Association for their very generous donation.
